Tawana will update us on the responses we have been getting. Things are really rolling. We may have a visit from mayoral candidate Domingo Garcia (who tells us he supports full funding of the 57,090 square foot shelter). This, by the way, is how we think we now need
to address the issue - as there is some
confusion. Candidates who say they support full funding may be talking about funding the Commission's proposal - which will give us 80 adoption cages less than the 57,090 square foot
design. I have attached the letter we sent out
this week explaining our stance.

People often say that humans have always eaten animals, as if this is a justification for continuing the practice. According to this logic, we should not try to prevent people from murdering other people, since this has also been done since the earliest of times.
